Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman holds an distinguished chair in psychology at the University of California Davis and is the Director of its Center for Public Policy Research. She is widely known for starting modern scientific studies of eyewitness accounts from children's memories and also the application of child victimization in court. Professor Goodman is the author of many publications and many awards to her credit, is also the recipient of a variety of international and national prizes. She has offered policy and research consultations to many agencies and departments around the globe. She is also a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a fellow of several professional organizations, such as The Association for Psychological Science and the American Psychological Association (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Traumatic Stress and Women 56). Professor Goodman is part of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a founding member, International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was president of the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division as well as three divisions of Child and Family Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
